The Lord of the Sun

The ancient oracles were never fooled by malfeasants and cowards. Hear this account.

A young Greek man---let us call him Atticus to preserve his descendants from further shame---was out walking with two of his friends when they were suddenly ambushed and set upon by a band of thieves. The two friends were detained and menaced and both eventually died of their wounds, while Atticus managed to run away and escape unharmed. When he reached his home, he told no one what had happened, and so everyone thought that there had been no witnesses to the fates of the two unfortunate men.

Not so. The Lord of the Sun, the Great Eye of Heaven, saw it all.

Several years later, Atticus was having problems in his life and sought the advice of Apollo at Delphi by means of an oracle through the priestess.

Apollo responded, but in a wrathful voice:

YOU ABANDONED YOUR FRIENDS
AS THEY LAY DYING.
I WILL GIVE YOU NO ORACLE.
GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!

The same thing happens to Witches all the time. The Gods will give us knowledge that we could not possibly know. I will tell some of my own experiences, and I hope to differentiate them into incidents of clairvoyance (reflected into me indirectly, like the light of the Moon) and incidents of foretelling (illuminating my mind directly, like the light of the Sun).

*** Blessed be to those who serve the Great Mother and the Horned Father.
