The Ten Pins Spell

. . . with a surprise ending. Back in March, I was putting in my spellbooks three old spells for "dominating" a lover, or keeping a lover faithful. These are traditionally known as The Ten Pins, The Knotted String, and Socks in a Box.

The Ten Pins, shown above, can be used by men or women against men or women.
The Knotted String is traditionally cast by a woman on a man.
Socks in a Box is traditionally cast by a man on a woman.

Something for everyone!

When I was recording The Ten Pins, I noted to some friends that I found it very interesting that, whatever Witch wrote it, her last bit of advice was "Be strong, and don't cry." A friend responded that she also found the last sentence very intriguing, "as if the essence of the spell were actually there, and not in the pins."

Indeed, sister. Indeed.
